Prices do not include cases. These can be chosen from the following companies and will be charged at the actual price at the moment of ordering :
•Manzano Cases (affordable and quite solid)
•Kingham Instrument cases (more expensive but they offer the best quality)
•Pierre Rousseau cases (very light aluminium cases. Handy for travelling theorbo and archlute players)
For the most instruments with "standard" measurements of string length and distances at the nut and bridge I do not ask for a deposit since I like to trust the honesty of my customers. For more unusual instruments or/and with very special requirements or ornamentations, I do ask for a deposit of 20% of the total value of the instrument in order to secure a place on my waiting list.
The balance is due on completion and prior to delivery.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with the instrument, the total amount less the deposit will be refunded, providing it is returned to me unmarked and undamaged within a maximum of two weeks from the date of delivery.
As a small business in Germany, I am exempt of charging VAT.
Conditions & Pricing
All my instruments are made with the best quality materials and are tried and tested by myself during a minimum period of 10 days in order to ensure their highest sound quality as well as their excellent playability. I do not make any so-called "student" instruments since I take no joy in working below my capabilities. All my production is based on professional concert grade instruments.
